Day 1 Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park via King's Palace Nyanza.

This tour starts in Kigali, In the morning after breakfast, our  guests will be picked up by a professional driver guide and drive to King's palace Nyanza.

King's Palace Nyanza

located in Nyanza, is a fascinating historical site that offers a glimpse into the country's regal past. Once the residence of King Mutara III Rudahigwa, the palace is an impressive example of traditional Rwandan architecture, complete with thatched roofs and intricately designed interiors. Visitors can explore the royal compound, learn about the monarchy's history, and see a replica of the traditional royal herd of long-horned Inyambo cattle. The palace, now a museum, serves as a cultural hub that celebrates Rwanda's heritage and provides a unique educational experience for tourists.

After, continue to Nyungwe for night stay.

Day 2 Chimpanzee Trekking

Chimpanzee Trekking

This is a very Early morning activity. Guests are required to be at the park reception by 4:30am. Guests will have to be up and have early breakfast in order to make it on time.

there are more than 500 Chimpanzee individuals  with 2 groups habituated for tourism and research.

One group is habituated at Uwinka and the second one is habituated at Cyamudongo which is a small part of  forest located in the eastern part of Nyungwe Forest national park.

Here you will be guided by experienced trackers who have vast knowledge in the botany of the forest. Guests have a chance to see the human like behavior of these creatures in their natural habitant. This activity takes between 3-5 hours depending on how fit one is.

After Chimpanzee trekking, guests will have a lunch break and then go for Canopy walk.

Canopy walk

A canopy walk offers a thrilling adventure, Suspended bridges and platforms are nestled among the treetops, providing a unique perspective on the ecosystem below. The experience is a blend of excitement and tranquility, as one navigates through the canopy, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest. It's a chance to witness wildlife from a bird's-eye view and to appreciate the beauty of the natural world from a new angle. After the canopy walk guests will head back to the hotel for night stay

Day 3 Isumo water fall and drive to Kigali

This tour begins in the morning, our guide will pick up the guest from the hotel and drive to main entrance.

Pick up: 8:00am

The Waterfall trail 

Walk through an off-beaten track through the water fall trail in the forest. The waterfall trail takes 4-5 hours depending on how fit one is.

Hiking this trail guests will witness verdant vegetation, streams, rivers on the forest floor,  different species of birds and wildlife.

Finally guests will be rewarded with the stunning sound and sights  of the Isumo water falls. Isumo water falls is a massive water fall and stands 25meters in height.

At the falls, it is picturesque and has other attractions such as the caves hanging over the clips, the colobus monkeys among others.

Guests will descend to the park reception and drive back to Kigali.
